The Ekiti state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has described those criticizing the Ekiti state Governor, Mr Peter Ayo Fayose on the unpopular loan deal between Nigeria and China as set of unpatriotic Nigerians who profit from the economic crisis that has bedeviled Nigerian since the inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari last year.
The party noted that only a reasonable person would see the danger inherent in obtaining a loan that will again sentence the nation into servitude or better put modern day slavery.
In a statement by the State Publicity Secretary of the Party, Mr Jackson Adebayo in Ado Ekiti on Monday, stressed that those criticising the governor are people of low economic mental capacity and gluttonous bootlickers who would not care even if Nigeria should be colonised again as far President Buhari is still the President of the country.
Adebayo queried the rationale behind going for such loan again when the federal government has been telling Nigerians that several billions of Naira have been recovered from looters with about two hundred billions in dollars also coming from United Arab Emirates while a trillion naira has been saved from TSA.
“What is the essence of borrowing in the midst of plenty after all the Federal government has announced the discovery of about 200 billion dollars that belongs to Nigeria in Dubai, United Arab Emirates apart from the 1 trillion Naira saved from treasury single account (TSA) and several billions that has been recovered by the government till date; PDP believe that only a government with sinister motive will go and borrow with this wealth.”
PDP spokesman said that Nigerian should also ask those criticising Fayose to ask the Federal government whether there has not been rise in the price of crude oil in the world market now which is a signal to a brighter future and compare it to go and borrow Yuan in Billions of dollars to enabled China colonise Nigeria in this digital century.
He maintained that many of the critics have descended on Fayose for their hatred for his person and that has beclouded their sense of reasoning to the extent that they can kiss goat in place of human in other to express their notoriety for hatred.
Adebayo who explained that the unpatriotic and desperation of bootlickers has always being the bane of sound polity which the critics of Fayose have failed to realized hence they would not mind to go to hell.
