Members of the dreaded sect, Boko Haram, Saturday night attacked another major town in Yobe State.
This time around, it is Babbangida town in Tamuwa Local Government Area, The Eagle Online reports.
It was learnt that the insurgents arrived in the town at about 9pm.
Babbangida is 50 kilometres north of Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.
First to be attacked were the military base and police station in the town, it was learnt.
Other targets were the local government area secretariat and the primary school in Babbangida.
Security personnel in the town are battling to contain the insurgents as at the time of filing this report.
