Emmanuel Dennis has said he is proud to be recalled by Nigeria for the 2021 Africa Cup Nations in Cameroon.
The Watford winger has been frozen out of the Eagles after playing in a 2021 AFCON qualifier in Sierra Leone in November 202O amid rumours of attitude problems.
He was named in the Super Eagles 28-man AFCON squad by interim manager Austine Eguavoen on Saturday following stellar campaign for English Premier League club Watford.
“Proud to get a call up to represent my country. Naija boy,” he tweeted with a love heart, a Nigerian flag and an Eagles emoji.
The versatile forward has thus far scored seven goals and provided five assists in the Premier League following his arrival from Belgian champions Club Brugge in the summer.
