Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun is wanted by Sky Bet Championship club Middlesbrough.
Balogun is set to become available by Premier League club Arsenal next month for loan.
The striker has been in outstanding goalscoring form for the U23s and is seeking first team football.
He was voted player of the month for November.
Boro are expected to move for Balogun in the first days of the January market – if not sooner.
