As Nigerians mourn the death of Nigeria’s Army Chief, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and other officers who died in a plane crash in Kaduna, on Friday, friends and families of the deceased are still in shock.
One of the victims is Flight Lt. Alfred Ayodeji Olufade, who just married a couple of months ago.
His friend described him as “Our Heroes” in a post on social media.
A friend, Onovwo-Omasoro Ali Ovie, tweeting @OvieNews, says “Rest in Peace Alfred. Flight Lt. AA Olufade just married two months ago. Our Heroes.”
Prompt News reports that Olufade was the co-pilot of Flt Lt Taiwo Olufemi Asaniyi, who also died barely two months after his introduction ahead of his wedding.
