For the second time, United States President Donald Trump has been impeached by the House of Representatives.
The impeachment moved was occasioned by the deadly riot at the Capitol building which was believed to have been incited by the President.
Ten rebel Republicans voted with Democrats making Mr. Trump the first president ever to be impeached twice.
According to BBC, he now faces a trial in the Senate, which will take place after he leaves office.
He was accused of rousing his followers to storm the Capitol last week, leaving five dead.
In a sometimes stormy day of debate, some Republicans argued impeachment would further divide the nation.
