Apparently to ensure that the wheel of governance is in full swing inspite of the mood of the nation, President Muhammadu Buhari is today presiding over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting, which commenced at exactly 10:00 am, has the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha and Chief of Staff (CoS) to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari; the National Security Adviser (NSA), Major General Babagana Munguno (retd) all physically present at the meeting.
Also, physically present at the Council Chambers for the FEC meeting are Ministers of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; Finance/National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed; Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN; Works and Housing, Babtunde Fashola and Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami.
Others present are Ministers of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi; Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika; Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire; Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Power, Saleh Mamma.
Meanwhile, other Cabinet ministers and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, are virtually participating in the weekly FEC meeting from their various offices in Abuja in accordance with the health protocols set up by the Presidential Taskforce on Covid-19 pandemic.
