In as much as ‘It is Your Right To Claim Your Right’!, the . . .
Focus of Islam is: “Strive For The Richness of Your Heart”
“Richness is not the result of many possession, but richness of the soul” (s.a.w)
The Soul will be the one to experience any pain or pleasure that you deserve. If you acquire wealth or power through the blood of others, the people might be seeing you as if you are enjoying, however, your soul will perpetually be in pain and turmoil and on Judgment Day, your matter might be challenging.
For the rich at heart, your soul will be at peace even though, to the people, you appear poor or weak. You might be living in a thatched house, yet be happier far better than the person inside the most elegant building. Read in between the line, building not home. A home is a habitation of whatever quality where there is peace of mind and happiness.
You and Your Thought:
How or what you think of others is what you are. It takes a thief to know a thief. It takes a fanatic to know a fanatic. It takes a witch to call another person a witch. The reality is that you are at that moment what you call the other person.
What you belief affects your thinking, in like manner, what goes on in your thought affects your belief. That is why Allah s.w.t direct His devotees to avoid any form of intoxicant and suspicion. Evil thought generate evil action
In Islam, it is Fundamental to belief in Allah and to devote worship to Him and Him alone. In reality, you have no where else to call upon in your moment of need. When shove come to push and come turn to become, everyone turn to Allah. In moment of trial and tribulation, you are warned not to confuse your belief. The only thing that is constant is your maker, the Creator of Heavens and the Earth – Allah! He is ever consistent and never ever change form. Neither sleep nor slumber overtaketh Him!
Do Not Be Confused:
In Volume 9, Book 84, Number 70: Narrated ‘Abdullah:
When the Verse:–‘Those who believe and did not confuse their belief with wrong (worshipping others besides Allah).’ (6.82) was revealed, it was hard on the companions of the Prophet and they said, ‘Who among us has not wronged (oppressed) himself?’ Allah’s Apostle said, ‘The meaning of the Verse is not as you think, but it is as Luqman said to his son, ‘O my son! Join not in worship others with Allah, Verily! Joining others in worship with Allah is a great wrong indeed.” (31.13) (Sahihi Muslim)
> Declaration of Faith is Enough: In Volume 9, Book 84, Number 71:
> Narrated ‘Itban bin Malik:
> Once Allah’s Apostle came to me in the morning, and a man among us said,
> ‘Where is Malik bin Ad-Dukhshun?’
> Another man from us replied,
> ‘He is a hypocrite who does not love Allah and His Apostle.’
> The Prophet said, ”Don’t you think that he says: “Ash-hadu AnLaailaaha IlaAllah, Wahadahu Laasharika Lahu” for the sake of Allah only?
> ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, only for Allah’s sake?’
> They replied, ‘Yes’
> The Prophet said, ”Nobody will meet Allah with that saying on the Day of Resurrection, but Allah will save him from the Fire.”
> You have a role to play in your quest for Paradise:
> But, If you are this then…. Volume 3, Book 40, Number 547:
> Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said,
> ”There are three persons whom Allah will not look at on the Day of Resurrection, nor will he purify them and
> theirs shall be a severe punishment.
> They are:
> 1. A man possessed superfluous water, on a way and he withheld it from travelers.
> 2. A man who gave a pledge of allegiance to a ruler and he gave it only for worldly benefits. If the ruler gives him something he gets satisfied, and if the ruler withholds something from him, he gets dissatisfied.
> 3. And man displayed his goods for sale after the ‘Asr prayer and he said,
> ‘By Allah, except Whom None has the right to be worshipped, I have been given so much for my goods,’ and
> somebody believes him (and buys them).’
> The Prophet then recited: ‘Verily! Those who purchase a little gain at the cost of Allah’s Covenant and their oaths.’ (3.77)”
> When You Deceive Gullible People using Faith in God:
> 3: 77. “Verily, those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah’s Covenant and their oaths, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter (Paradise). Neither will Allah speak to them, nor look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, and they shall have a painful torment”.
> The Three Major Sins: Volume 9, Book 84, Number 55:
> Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr:
> A bedouin came to the Prophet and said,
> ‘O Allah’s Apostle! What are the biggest sins?:
> The Prophet said, ‘To join others (associating partners) in worship with Allah.’
> The bedouin said, ‘What is next?’
> The Prophet said, ‘To be undutiful to one’s parents.’
> The bedouin said ‘What is next?’
> The Prophet said ‘To take an oath of’Al-Ghamus.’
> The bedouin said, ‘What is an oath ‘Al-Ghamus’?’
> The Prophet said, ‘The false oath through which one deprives a Muslim of his property (unjustly).’
> The Opinion of The Youth Matters:
> Volume 3, Book 40, Number 541: Narrated Sahl bin Sad:
> A tumbler (full of milk or water) was brought to the Prophet who drank from it,
> Meanwhile, on his right side there was sitting a boy who was the youngest of those who were present and
> on his left side there were older men.
> The Prophet asked, ‘O boy, will you allow me to give it (i.e. the rest of the drink) to the older men?’
> The boy said, ‘O Allah’s Apostle! I will not give preference to anyone over me to drink the rest of it from which you have drunk.’
> So, the Prophet gave it to him.
> The Opinion of the Poor also Matters:
> Volume 3, Book 40, Number 542: Narrated Az-Zuhri: (in another incident):
> Anas bin Malik said, that
> once a domestic sheep was milked for Allah’s Apostle while he was in the house of Anas bin Malik.
> The milk was mixed with water drawn from the well in Anas’s house.
> A tumbler of it was presented to Allah’s Apostle who drank from it.
> Then Abu Bakr was sitting on his left side and a bedouin on his right side.
> When the Prophet removed the tumbler from his mouth,
> ‘Umar was afraid that the Prophet might give it to the bedouin, so he said.
> ‘O Allah’s Apostle! Give it to Abu Bakr who is sitting by your side.’
> But the Prophet gave it to the bedouin, who was to his right and said,
> ‘You should start with the one on your right side.’
> When you are consistently consistent as a leader, you need not waste money on sensitization, people watch and do as you do. If you do not walk the talk, you cannot manage the crowd.
