The Super Eagles arrived Abuja on Saturday afternoon from Cairo following their participation at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Gernot Rohr’s men beat the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Wednesday to secure third place in the competition.
The players and their officials left the Cairo International Airport in the early hours of Saturday morning and arrived the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport around noon.
They were met on arrival by Secretary to the Federal Government, Boss Mustapha and other top dignitaries
“We’re here! #SoarSuperEagles,”reads a tweet on the official Twitter handle of the Super Eagles.
“Big Thank you to our wonderful @NGRPresident His Excellency @MBuhari who was represented by the SGF and other top dignitaries for giving us a rousing welcome from Egypt. #SoarSuperEagles.”
