Fifty-four Nigerian referees, 27 of them FIFA badged will converge on Abuja from August 27-29 for FIFA international readiness test.
According to the secretary of the referees committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, Sunday Okayi all the 54 referees are expected to undergo medical tests on 27 and 28 at State House clinic
He stated that physical fitness test will come up on August 29 at the Abuja National Stadium Practice pitch. Mr. Okayi stated that those who pass the test will be recommended for promotion for FIFA badge while those who fail the test would be dropped.
The chairman of the NFF Technical Committee, Suleman Muazu and other FIFA committee members are expected to supervise the test.
