Benin Republic head coach, Gernot Rohr has said his side will go all out for a win in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against Nigeria.
The Squirrels will entertain their neighbour at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Monday (today).
The home team will head into the game in buoyant mood following last Thursday’s 1-0 victory over the Bees of Rwanda.
Rohr conceded that the Squirrels are the underdogs but will fight hard to secure maximum points in the game.
“Nigeria is a great team. We are the underdogs but we will play tomorrow to win,” the Frenchman said ahead of the game.
Rohr has a deep knowledge of the Super Eagles having managed the team for five years. READ ALSO:
