Nigeria’s Falconets returned to the country on Monday from Kigali following their 1-0 victory over She-Amavubi of Rwanda in a 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifying match on Sunday.
Alaba Olabiyi scored the decisive goal in the 70th minute at the Kigali-Pele Stadium.
The players and their officials headed to Ibadan to continue intensive preparations for the second leg.
A draw will be enough for the Falconets to secure a place in the third round.
The encounter will hold at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan on Saturday.
Nigeria have qualified for every edition of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
