The Super Falcons squad numbers for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup has been released.
Benfica midfielder, Christy Ucheibe will don the popular number 10 jersey.
The team’s biggest star, Asisat Oshoala has been assigned the number 8 shirt, while experienced forward, Desire Oparanozie will wear number 9.
Captain of the side Onome Ebi kept his number 5 shirt, while Atletico Madrid forward Rasheedat Ajibade will don number 15.
The Super Falcons arrived Brisbane on Sunday morning for their final preparation for the World Cup on Sunday morning.
Randy Waldrum’s ladies will begin their campaign at this year’s edition of the quadrennial competition which will he co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand against Canada on Friday, July 21.
