Toni Payne has backed the Super Falcons to make it to the final at the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The Super Falcons maintained their unbeaten run in the competition after battling to a 0-0 draw against Republic of Ireland at the Lang Park, Brisbane on Monday.
Randy Waldrum’s side finished second in Group B behind co-hosts Australia.
The former African champions will face first-place team in Group D in the Round of 16.
Payne, who plays for Spanish club, Sevilla is confident the Super Falcons can go all the way in the competition.
“If we continue to play as we have and improve on each game, we can go all the way to the final,” the Sevilla star said after Monday’s game at the Brisbane Stadium. READ ALSO:
