Super Falcons media officer Oluchi Tobechukwu has revealed there are is injury concern in the team following Thursday’s gruelling clash with Australia.
Randy Waldrum’s side defeated the co-hosts 3-2 in a thrilling contest at the Lang Park, Brisbane.
Halimat Ayinde limped off the pitch on 64 minutes and was replaced by Jennifer Echegini.
Right -back Michelle Alozie and reliable centre-back Osinachi Ohale also picked injuries in the game.
Tobechukwu however said everyone is in good shape and will be ready to face Republic in their next game.
“They are good, a lot of knocks during the match even prior to that we’ve had Desire Oparanozie on the bench recovering from knocks almost fully fit.,”She told Brila FM. READ ALSO:
