Chiamaka Nnadozie has reacted to her superlative display in Super Falcons’ 0-0 draw against Canada on Friday morning.
Nnadozie produced a superb save to deny Christine Sinclair from the spot in the 50th minute.
The Paris FC goalkeeper was also named Player of the Match after thrilling contest played at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium.
She also expressed her delight with the outcome of the game, PROMPT NEWS reports.
“It was a great thing that we were able to at least get something and it was a dream come true for me personally,” Nnadozie said.
“When she took the ball, I was like, ‘Okay, it’s Sinclair again’, because the last time we played against them, she scored against me. I was very angry, and I told myself, this is the opportunity to make things right.”
