*** To Begin Inspection February 13
The Nationwide League One (NLO) Secretariat has stressed that the home grounds of clubs in Division One must meet the requirements specified for it to get approval for the 2023 season.
In a statement issued by its media department on Monday, the NLO informed that the stadium inspection for all Division One clubs will be for eight days and will commence from Friday 13th to 20th February 2023.
The State Football Associations and all the concerned clubs have also been kindly informed that the under-listed conditions must be met since 70% of its matches will be live-streamed via the NLO TV Channel.
For any home ground to get the green light, the NLO insists that such sports facilities must be fenced with an external wall or perimeter fencing.
Such facilities must have a decent/functional dressing room for players and officials.
Stadium proposed by the club must have a stand for the home team/away teams, spectators and a scoreboard which could be manual or electronic.
The playing turf pitch in the sports facilities must be good and well-marked, with a good goal post net and corner flags.
As the NLO projects a good number of matches to be live-streamed weekly, clubs have been told to erect TV/camera stands at 10ft in height.
Lastly, any stadium that must get the NLO approval must have decent conveniences or functional toilet facilities for fans.
