Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, Mrs. Titi Abubakar, wife of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has enjoined Nigerians to vote for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Apparently in a slip of tongue, Mrs Abubakar, while addressing a PDP rally urged supporters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and vote APC.
“By the 25th of February, everybody should come, if you have not collected your PVC, go and collect your PVC… we should vote APC,” Titi Abubakar told supporters in a gaffe that is not the first since the nationwide campaigns kicked off ahead of 2023 general elections.
Prompt News recalls that political party stalwarts including the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu have also recorded gaffes at campaign rally.
Meanwhile, reactions have been trailing the video of the obvious gaffe that is now trending on social media.
