Erstwhile Super Eagles midfielder Sunday Mba has tipped the team to qualify from their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations group.
The Super Eagles will face hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau in Group A.
Mba, whose goal against Burkina Faso won Nigeria a third AFCON 10 years ago, said the Eagles will be expected to go past the first round of the tournament, but warned against complacency.
“Nigeria will qualify from their team, but we cannot underrate any of our opponents because all of them are a lot more prepared now,” he predicted.
