With the release of the final results of the 2021Anambra State Governorship Election by the electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the 18 political parties, their candidates, supporters and the general public now have the opportunity to know how the contestants performed.
Aside the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) whose candidate in the November 6 Anambra gubernatorial election, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo won the election with a total of 112, 229 votes, not much was heard about numerous other candidates who took part in the exercise.
Among the political parties and candidates who contested against APGA’s flagbearer Soludo are the second placed People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Valentine Ozigbo; third placed All Progressive Congress (APC), Emmanuel Andy Uba and 4th placed Young Progressive Party (YPP), Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.
