By Gracious Akujobi The management of Kano Pillars has pledged to give the new technical adviser, Okey Emordi, free hand to discharge his duties.
Chairman of the board, Abba Yola, stated this while presenting the new technical adviser to board members at the club’s secretariat in Kano.
Yola, charged the new Emordi to ensure that Pillars win the trophies available for all the championships and tournaments they have entered for the 2013/2014 football season.
The board chairman however, advised him to assess the qualification of the other coaches in the team and work with one that fulfill League Management Company (LMC), CAF and FIFA requirements.
He described Emordi’s appointment as God’s choice and assured him of the support of the board at all time.
Responding, coach Emordi thanked the board and Kano State government for given him this chance to work, pledging to justify the confidence reposed in him.
