Gov. Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has inaugurated the newly elected state executives of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Yahaya, who was represented by his deputy Manasseh Jatau tasked the new leaders to be proactive and work towards the victory of the party in 2023.
He emphasized the need for the executives to project the good image of the APC by informing the citizens on the projects executed by the state government in order to canvass support for the party.
He further said tackling opposition should not only be the responsibility of government officials “ I urge you to always counter their criticism with superior arguments and facts,” he said.
In his goodwill message, Abubakar Luggerewo, the Speaker Gombe State House of Assembly advised the executives to follow the directives of the State Government in the forthcoming APC National convention.
In his response, Alhaji UMAR Goro, State Secretary APC reiterated their continued support and loyalty to the governor.
