The first medals of the Paris 2024 wrestling competition have just been confirmed in the men’s Greco-Roman 60kg weight category.
Japan’s Fumita Kenichiro becomes his country’s first champion in Greco-Roman wrestling in 40 years with a 4-1 victory on points over Cao Liguo of People’s Republic of China.
Bronze medals went to Kyrgyzstan’s Zholaman Sharshenbekov and Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s Ri Se Ung. (Olympics)
