Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, assumed office Monday afternoon, shortly after he took oath of office at the Presidential Villa, vowing to restore the Abuja master plan.
Addressing his maiden press conference in the presence of directors and other top officials of the Ministry, Wike said those who got land allocation but failed to develop would have the land revoked.
He also vowed to demolish buildings erected on green areas and those built without approval.
“All those who are distorting the master plan of Abuja, too bad. If you know you have built where you are not supposed to build, it will go down.
“Be you a minister of anywhere, be you an ambassador, if you know you have developed where you are not supposed to develop, your house will go down.
“Those who have taken over the green areas to build, sorry, the green areas must come back.
“If you hate green, you must hate yourself. If your father has done that, sorry; if your mother has done that, sorry it will go down. READ ALSO:
