Nigeria’s Flying Eagles qualifed for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations after a 3-1 comeback win over Niger Republic in their semi-final clash at the WAFU B Championship on Sunday night.
Aliyu Zubairu’s side will also battle with Ghana in the final of the WAFU B U-20 Championship.
Niger Republic took the lead after nine minutes.
Enyimba forward Clinton Jephta equalised for Nigeria with a superb strike from outside the box few minutes later.
Jephta scored his second goal of the game early in the second half.
The Flying Eagles then scored with literally the last kick of the game in stoppage time to make the scoreline more comfortable at 3-1.
Earlier Ghana defeated Cote d’Ivoire 2-1 in the first semi-final.
