FRANCE – Nigeria’s Super Falcons early Thursday morning left Grenoble for Rennes in continuation of their campaign in the ongoing 8th FIFA Women’s World Cup final in France.
Other members of the delegation including backroom staff left with the players and the coaching crew.
Recall that the Falcons defeated their counterparts from South Korea 2-0 at Stade des Alpes Grenoble on Wednesday to remain in the tournament.
Last weekend, the team lost their opening match 3-0 to Norway, fuelling anger back home.
Super Falcons are billed to confront the host France on Monday next week.
