Renowned American artist Cardi B has voiced her apprehension regarding Donald Trump’s success in the upcoming 2024 presidential election in the United States.
Recall that Cardi B, along with other prominent figures such as Beyoncé, had publicly endorsed Kamala Harris.
Following Harris’s defeat, the rapper reaffirmed her support for the candidate.
In response to Trump’s victory announced on Wednesday morning, Cardi B expressed her sentiments on her X account, stating, “We need a Hail Mary.”
In reaction to her statement, supporters of Trump responded to Cardi B’s tweet with disparaging remarks about her character, arguing that the Holy Mary would not endorse some of Kamala’s positions.
Kamala Harris represents the Democratic Party as its presidential candidate, and her views on various issues are well-known among her supporters.
Conversely, Donald Trump is the nominee for the leading opposition party, the Republican Party.
