Nigeria’s Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, is currently presiding over the weekly Federal Cabinet meeting holding at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
As at press time, it is not clear why President Muhammadu Buhari, who is in the country is absent from the FEC Meeting.
President Buhari has been presiding over the meeting since he returned from his 50-day extended medical vacation in the United Kingdom on March 10.
Prompt News Online reports that since he returned from the UK, Mr Buhari has not attended any official function outside the capital, Abuja.
It will be recalled that he told Nigerians that he would soon return to London for follow-up checks with his Doctors but he’s yet to travel a month after.
