The Head of Department of Adult Education, University of Ibadan, Prof R.A Aderinoye, is inviting the general public to a symposium to mark the 2018 International Literacy Day.
Billed to hold by 10.00am on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan, the theme of the annual symposium is “Literacy and Skills Development”.
The symposium, which will be moderated by Prof Yemisi Obilade, will feature five discussants. They are: Prof Dapo Akintayo, Department of Adult Education; Alhaji Muhammed Bello, Zonal Director FRCN; Prof Abba Haladu, NIMEC; Mr. Idris Ladipo, School Media Lagos.
Emeritus Prof Michael Omolewa, is the Father of the Day, Special Guest of Honour is the Vice Chancellor Prof Abel Idowu Olayinka, while Prof Julius Ademokoya, Dean Faculty of Education is the Host.
