Rennes midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu is set to join Chelsea on a permanent transfer.
The deal is worth £23.5million, potentially rising to £25.7m with add-ons.
The 19-year-old was not in Rennes’ squad to face West Ham in a friendly at Roazhon Park on Saturday as both clubs look to finalise talks.
Ugochukwu made 35 appearances across all competitions for Rennes last season. READ ALSO:

It is not known whether he will stay at Chelsea or if he will go on loan to the newly-bought partner club Strasbourg next season.
Chelsea first team are currently on tour in United States of America.
