Ademola Lookman can’t hide his excitement following Atalanta’s UEFA Champions League victory over Bundesliga club Stuttgart.
The Serie A outfit defeated their hosts 2-0 with Lookman scoring the opening goal.
The Nigeria international has now registered eight goals and five assists in 13 appearances across all competitions for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side this season.
“We had a positive first half. We created dangerous moments in the game, so (the aim was to) just keep doing what we were doing,” the winger told Uefa.com.
“We knew the chances would come and we took them. We’re happy with the three points and we’ll keep going.
“We knew how important this game would be. Coming here is never easy – I think we all saw the atmosphere and how loud it was. It was great for us to experience it and play here, and wonderful for us to put on the performance that we did in this stadium.”
La Dea will travel to Young Boys for their next game in the competition on November 26.
