By Gracious Akujobi The head coach of Nigeria’s U-20, Peter Dedevbo is confident that the Falconets will beat Tunisia despite not knowing much about their opponents playing style.
In a chat with Prompt News Online at the team’s camp in Abuja, Dedevbo, said “My coaching crew and the girls are prepared, though we do not know much about the Tunisians, my team is preparing well to meet with them.
“Despite not having played against them in my career as a female team coach, I believe we will beat them well in Abuja. They are not a big name in women football in Africa, they are an average team so victory for us is sure”.
On how many goals his team will likely score, the Delta Queens coach said “I don’t know by what goal margin we will beat them but I know we will definitely beat them very well when they come to Abuja”
Falconets beat Sierra Leone 16-0 goals aggregate to reach this stage while their opponents defeated Morcco 8-1 on aggregate to qualify to play Nigeria.
Meanwhile, FIFA has shifted the first leg which was supposed to be played in Abuja on December 7,to December 14,because the Tunisian girls have exams to sit for on the earlier date.
