Flying Eagles captain, Tosin Adegbite has suffered another injury, reports Prompt News.
Adegbite picked up the injury while in action for his club Enyimba in a friendly against Rangers.
Further scans are expected to be performed on the defender to assess the extent of damage done to him and when he can return to training.
The defender now face a race to be fit for the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Ladan Bosso’s side will resume camping for the competition in Abuja on Sunday.
The seven-time African champions are drawn in Group A with Egypt, Mozambique and Senegal.
The competition will run from February 19 to February 11.
