Nigeria’s Flamingos defeated Liberia 4-1 in the first leg of their FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium Monrovia, on Sunday night.
The visitors took a well deserved lead through Shakirat Moshood on 19 minutes.
Peace Effiong doubled the advantage 10 minutes later.
The Flamingos continued their dominance with prolific striker Harmony Chidi adding the third in the 74th minute.
Substitute Blessing Ifitezue added the fourth for Nigeria 16 minutes from time.
The hosts pulled one back from the spot in the 87th minute.
Bankole Olowookere’s side will host the second leg at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja next week. READ ALSO:

The overall winners will proceed to the U-17 World Cup which will be hosted by Dominican Republic later in the year.
