Burkina Faso and Nigeria battled to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying tie in Bamako on Saturday.
The Flamingos went in front through Chidi Harmony on 55 minutes.
Bankole Olowookere’s side created other chances afterwards but couldn’t add to their lead.
The visitors however equalised through Rainata Oubda five minutes from time.
The two teams will clash again in the second leg next week Saturday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

Nigeria finished in third position at the last edition of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup hosted by India.
Dominican Republic will host the next edition of the competition.
