Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor have given latest updates as regards their pursuit of Paul Onuachu.
According to sporting director, Abdullah Avci, Onuachu remains determined to stay at the club.
Avci also revealed that the club’s president is pushing to secure agreement with Premier League club, Southampton.
“We spoke with Onuachu three, four days ago; he also wants to be with us. As of now, I can’t say it’s possible or not.
“The president is working hard on this issue. We’ll be a little patient,” Prompt News quoted Avci as saying.
The Turkish club are ready to break their transfer record to sign the 30-year-old striker, who netted 17 goals and made four assists in 25 appearances on loan last season. READ ALSO:
