TikTok personality Amadou Elizabeth, popularly known as Jarvis has addressed the rumors surrounding her engagement following a public display by fellow Tiktoker Habeeb Adelaja, better known as Peller, who presented her with a ring.
It is worth noting that during Peller’s recent trip to the UK, he made headlines by proposing to his girlfriend in a heartfelt moment where he knelt down and offered her a ring.
In a live session on TikTok, Jarvis clarified that the ring was not an engagement ring but rather a symbolic promise between them.
This clarification comes in light of the public display by Peller, which sparked speculation about a potential wedding, quickly circulating on social media.
Fans had begun to wonder if the couple was preparing to marry soon, but Jarvis’ comments indicate a different understanding.
She explained that the ring represents a promise between them, signifying their commitment to each other during his time away in Nigeria.
“It’s a promise ring. It’s not the same thing,” Jarvis clarified.
“For engagement rings, you are supposed to get married in two or three weeks. Time never reach. This is a promise ring. It is a ring of ‘My love, I am travelling to another country, wait for me,” she added.
As the couple’s relationship continues to attract attention, Jarvis has called on fans to respect their personal timeline and intentions.
