Nigerian forward, Terem Moffi is set for a long spell on the sidelines after sustaining a cruciate ligament injury in training.
Moffi’s Ligue 1 club OGC Nice confirmed the unfortunate development on their official website.
“Injured during training, Terem Moffi (25 years old) underwent additional tests today. These confirmed a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee,” read the statement.
“The Nigerian will be able to count on the unwavering support of the entire red and black family. Staff, teammates, Gym employees and supporters will accompany him during his convalescence and wish him, in unison, a speedy recovery.
“Take care of yourself Terem, you will come back stronger!.
The striker linked up with Nice from another French club, Lorient in January 2023.
