Super Falcons defender Jennifer Echegini has formally announced her departure from Juventus.
Echegini reportedly submitted a transfer request at the Serie A club last month amid interest from French club Paris Saint-Germain.
The 23-year-old only linked up with Juventus from American club Florida State Seminoles in January.
PNO Sports reports that the midfielder made an impressive impact with the Bianconeri.
Echegini registered 10 goals and one assist in 16 appearances for Juventus.
The Nigerian was named the best U-23 player in the Italian top-flight and also included in the Team of the Season.
She announced her exit from the club on the social media.
“I wanted to take this moment and share my gratitude for the time we have shared. Despite all that may have been said I’m extremely grateful to have been part of this family,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Living and playing in Turin has been an amazing journey filled with a lot of growing and learning for me. I will cherish these memories and carry them on to my next journey. READ ALSO:
