Super Eagles have proposed a friendly against top Cameroonian club Cotonsport Garoua as part of their preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The information for the warm-up encounter was obtained by Cameroon online news hub Sportsglitz from the Director of Communications at Cotonsport, Saliou Adamou.
It is however still uncertain if the club will accept the proposal given their tight schedule.
Cotonsport is based in the North Region of Cameroon where the Super Eagles are programmed to play their three group matches and possibly the Round of 16 encounter if they go beyond the group stage.
The Super Eagles opened camp for the competition on Wednesday (today) in Abuja.
The three-time African champions will open their campaign in Cameroon against Egypt on January 11.
