Super Eagles defeated Cameroonian champions Cotonsport 2-0 in a practice game in Garoua on Friday night.
Captain Ahmed Musa and Samuel Chukwueze scored both goals for Austine Eguavoen’s led side.
Musa opened scoring for the Super Eagles in the first half before Chukwueze doubled the Eagles’ lead in the second half.
The game was arranged as part of Nigeria’s preparation for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Meanwhile, there will be another practice game between the Eagles first and second eleven on Saturday.
The Super Eagles will face seven-time African champions Egypt in their opening Group D game at the Stade Roumde Garoua next week Tuesday.
They will also come up against Sudan and Guinea-Bissau in the same group.
