Former Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge has recommended Nigerian duo, Victor Osimhen and Victor Boniface to Premier League clubs.
Osimhen and Boniface have established themselves as two of the leading marksmen in the world.
Powerful forward Osimhen was pivotal to Napoli’s Scudetto success last season, scoring 26 goals in 32 league appearances.
The 24-year-old, who is currently sidelined with an hamstring injury has scored six goals in 10 outings for the Partenopei this season.
Boniface finished as top scorer in the UEFA Europa League last season.
The 22-year-old has scored seven goals and provided five assists for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen this term.
“Mbappe is the No.1! Victor Osimhen is probably the next one; we’ve seen what he can do, the goals he scores, the pace, the tenacity, and the finishing. I very much like him,” Sturridge told Sky Sports.
“But [Serhou] Guirassy is second in the scoring charts now in Germany behind [Harry] Kane, [Victor] Boniface at Leverkusen, [Maximilian] Beier who is playing in Germany as well.”
