ABUJA – Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka Thursday held talks behind closed doors with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.
He however declined to be specific on what informed his visit, saying he came to discuss national, international and general matters.
When asked why he was at the presidential Villa, he said, “Wait, wait, wait, I didn’t come here to see you people.
“I came to discuss one or two things.
“I came to talk about few things; national matters; international matters, general matters, that’s all.
“But right now, please I will just like to get away.”
Prof Soyinka was accompanied on the visit by a former Managing Director of Daily Times Newspapers, Dr. Yemi Ogunbiyi.
