Sporting Dreams FC have emerged Champion of the just concluded FCT FA Division One Leaue Super 4 Finals played at Area 3 Football Pitch.
Sporting Dreams got 7 points from 3 matches , same with Future Garanttee FC but emerged Champion with plus 1 goal difference.
They therefore, pocketed N500,000 ( five hundred thousand) and a trophy. The team will represent FCT in NLO Division 2 Play Off.
According to the Chairman FCT League Committee and a member of NLO Board Barrister Babatunde Bucknor, the team will be ably assisted by Territory Football Association to have a successful in NLO Division 2 Play off .
“We are happy with the turn out of football fans and stakeholders. The four teams emerged from various centres .
“Though the attendance was not as expected but fair enough due weather condition. Also we are happy with the dignitaries to greased the finals.
“Virtually all the six area council football chairmen were there to witness the best of football.
“Continuing, I strongly believe that the next edition will be better than this.
“It is our desire to have strong representation at the national level. We have the facilities to football event and the association is working round the cloak to ensure that the territory is ranked number 1 in terms of football development.”.
