SPAL denied Juventus a chance to wrap up a record eighth consecutive Serie A title after coming from a goal down to record a 2-1 win on Saturday.
Juventus needing just a point to win the title got off to the best possible start with Moise Kean turning home Joao Cancelo’s wayward shot to put Juventus in front.
Kevin Bonifazi headed in the equaliser just after half-time, before 37-year-old Sergio Floccari scored the winner.
The win was SPAL’s first against Juventus since February 1957 and the champions second league defeat of the season.
Despite the defeat Juventus are 20 points clear of second-placed Napoli, who have seven games remaining this season.
The Bianconeri will have to wait for next Saturday’s match against Fiorentina, unless Napoli fail to beat Chievo on Sunday.
