Odion Ighalo scored once in Al Hilal’s 4-0 win against Al Ittifaq at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium on Wednesday night.
Ramon Diaz’s side dominated the Round of 16 encounter as their opponent struggled all through.
Ighalo scored the curtain raiser in the 12th minute with Mohammed Al Burayrk providing the assist.
It was Ighalo’s eighth striker in 14 appearances across all competitions for the Royals this season.
The Nigerian was replaced by Abdullah Otayf in the 61st minute.
Al Buyark , Luciano Vietto and Michael scored the other goals for the Saudi Professional Football League champions.
Al Hilal will now shift their attention to next Monday’s league clash against Al Nassr.
