ABUJA – By Olusegun Lawrence Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Wednesday, swore in Shuaibu Lau Isa, as Senator representing Taraba North senatorial district.
He replaces Senator Abubakar Danladi, who was recently sacked by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Prompt News recalls that the Apex Court had ordered Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi, to vacate his seat and refund all salaries and allowances paid to him so far within 90 days.
The new Senator, Shuaibu Isa is a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
