Newly appointed duo of Oluwole Babatunde and Charity Enwere have resumed their posts as Head Coach and Trainer respectively at the Nigeria Women Football League side, Confluence Queens Football Club of Lokoja.
Oluwole, a one-time Head Coach at Bayelsa Queens and River Angels alongside Trainer Charity who notably served as the Trainer of the Super Falcons speaks volume on the intimidating credentials of the
newly assembled Confluence Queens technical crew.
Confluence Queens’ Head Coach, Oluwole Babatunde fondly called “Santana”, who spoke through the club’s media officer, Tosin Ojo expressed delight on landing the Confluence Queens’ job, saying he
hopes to bring his wealth of experience to bear and described the job as a fresh challenge but in familiar terrain.
Also speaking, Charity Enwere, the resuming newly appointed coach trainer of the club, promised to provide the necessary support to coach Santana in the successfully leading the team to becoming
champions in the country. The duo who since arrival to the Kogi State capital city, Lokoja begun
their club activities ahead for 2013/2014 season with screening exercise and preseason programme.
…Queens Supporters Welcome Coach
The Supporters Club of Nigeria Women Football League side, Confluence Queens Football Club gave a rousing welcome to the newly resuming appointed Head Coach, Oluwole Santana and Trainer, Charity Enwere with the display of colourful banners in Lokoja.
The Chairman of Confluence Queens’ Supporters Club, Moses Bako who spoke to sports writers, admitted the gesture was the unanimous decision of its teeming supporters to give a rousing
reception to the resuming coaches.
He noted the signing of Coach Santana and Charity will help in exposing the players to national activities, insisting their influence will provide the team the needed training to prepare them for national
call-ups.

The Head Coach, Oluwole Babatunde has vowed to make the Lokoja-based queens ‘national champions.
Oluwole who is fondly called “Santana” by colleagues and friends made the statement through the club’s spokesperson Tosin Ojo, believes the Confluence girls under his tutelage “will witness a successful
turn-around”.
Santana assured on assembling a formidable team capable of displacing the likes of Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens, who are touted as the power house in the Nigeria Women Football.
He urged club’s supporters, stakeholders and football lovers in the state to rally behind the team so that the team could achieve its robust targets.
