The recently dismissed Secretary to the Kano State Government, Abdullahi Bichi, has warned of an impending revelation about political betrayals within the state.
In a viral video circulating on social media, Bichi claimed to possess documented evidence—including written, audio, and video records—against unnamed individuals.
Addressing his supporters, he said, “I’m glad I ended my tenure peacefully.
“This is not the right time to speak, but at the appropriate moment, we will expose them, so people understand their true nature.”
He further described these individuals as untrustworthy and deceptive, stating, “They only know betrayal and treachery. They are not to be trusted.”
Governor Abba Yusuf recently dismissed Bichi, along with the Chief of Staff, Shehu Sagagi, and five commissioners.
Before his removal, Bichi was accused of leading a faction advocating for Yusuf to assert full control of the government, allegedly opposing the influence of his political mentor, Rabiu Kwankwaso. Bichi has denied the allegations.
The state government cited health reasons for his dismissal.
