Afro pop alternative singer Ric Hassani and acclaimed television personality Uti Nwachukwu entertained fun seekers at the Abuja Summer Festival on Saturday night.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the duo caused a stir when they walked in as fans, especially among ladies, as they scrambled to take pictures and chat with them minutes before Ric Hassani’s electrifying performance.
Following their interaction with guests which included youths and children, Ric Hassani mounted the stage to give a powerful rendition of medleys of his hit songs.
The ‘gentleman’ crooner got the ladies excited as they chanted ‘I deserve a gentleman’ at the top of their voices with so much energy.
Shortly after, he performed the groovy ‘Believe’ which opened the dance floor where guests struggled to outdo each other in a swift dance competition.
Earlier, guests were treated to an array of performances by some upcoming Abuja artists who kept the festival vibes at full tempo while a trade fair was ongoing.
This was followed by a fashion show where designers from across the country put their best works on display with models strutting the runway in beautiful Ankara styles.
However, it was the kids runway show that left most of the guests with teary eyes as the adorable children modeled the clothes effortlessly with cheerful smiles.
